~Prescription Poetry~ Poetic cures for what ails you

Story Factory is taking creativity to a whole new level through the new Prescription Poetry workshops at their Parramatta centre.

About the Program: the students gather a range of ailments from people - from worries about a family member to fear of spiders or nerves about a big footy game - in the workshops students take on the role of “poetry doctors”, prescribing positive and practical advice in verse

Their poems, in pill bottles, will be distributed from a pop-up Poetry Dispensary at the Story Factory Parramatta centre mid next year

When: Workshops will be run in Term 4 this year, and Terms 1 and 2 next year.

Sheargold Foundation are proud to be supporting such a progressive and creative program and organisation.
