Meet Vanessa – A Storyteller at @sydneystoryfactory
“I’m Vanessa, a Uruguayan-Australian; proudly born and raised on Dharug Land.
I’ve been working as a Storyteller at Story Factory since 2020. My job as a storyteller is to create a fun and safe environment in which curiosity can flourish, ideas can flow freely, and young writers can find their voice. It’s an honour to hold space for our students, who consistently impress me with their thoughts and ideas.
I am incredibly grateful to be a part of a team with such talented and inspiring people who are all passionate about using arts-based learning to help students from under-resourced communities build their confidence, creativity and writing skills.”
