COMMENCEMENT OF CONSTRUCTION – SUSSEX INLET GOLF VILLAGE

November saw the commencement of construction for the latest joint venture between Lucas Property Group and Sheargold – Sussex Inlet Golf Village.

SIGV will consist of over 700 lots, with construction now commencing on the first 79 home sites and lead-in infrastructure. The initial stage will also host a number of display homes, and many prestige home sites will back directly onto the manicured fairways of the upgraded Sussex Inlet Golf Course.

Ralph Lucas, of Lucas Property Group, said “Working with Michael Sheargold and his team will ensure the pursuit of excellence as our development continues.”

This 12 year master planned project will have a value in excess of $400m, bringing an enormous boost in economy, employment and tourism to Sussex Inlet.

BRAND LAUNCH - PARRY’S COVE

Last month saw Sheargold’s launch of their latest development in Tea Gardens, Parry’s Cove.

This master planned community will include a multi-million-dollar Residents’ Hub comprising large indoor-outdoor community meeting space, commercial grade kitchen, BBQ’s, community vegie patch, movie screen, outdoor fireplaces and expansive decks overlooking a central lake.

Also included will be a Wellness Centre, comprising a state-of-the-art gym, indoor heated pool and exercise rooms.
Consisting of 220 ha, approximately 100 ha has been set aside as conservation land to protect local flora and fauna, especially the incredible bird life.

The brand launch on 26 October was well received by local residents, as was a community information session held mid November, with many attendees expressing pleasure with Sheargold’s vision for the area.

Sheargold Support NueRA

Sheargold are proud to support NeuRA (Neuroscience Research Australia) in their Colour your Hair for Mental Health week. As a small team we were very proud to have raised $1,500 for ground breaking mental health research.

Given the option of colouring your hair, or wearing a colourful wig, the majority of our team opted for the ‘easy’ way out, and donned wigs. However, we all joined in the spirit of the occasion and wore the wigs for the duration of the day, including any trips outside the office.
